About us

PFT PräzisionsFertigungsTechnik GmbH

Experience since 1968

Founded in 1968 by Michael Graef as a locksmith's shop in Frankenmarkt, the business field increasingly shifted towards serial CNC production technology with the entry of today's managing director Hermann Graef.

Since 1989, the specialization and modernization of the machine park has been in the direction of high-precision Production of CNC parts.

In 1997 there was a generation change and this resulted in a new name and a new form of business:

The PräzisionsFertigungsTechnik GmbH

our company today

Michael Graef

company founder

We're in action since 1968

1968

Foundation of a locksmith's shop

Michael Graef founds a building locksmith's shop in Frankenmarkt (Upper Austria), which soon began to deal with serial production work.

1987

Start of CNC machining

With the entry of the son, Hermann Graef, the first CNC lathe EMCO Turn340 is purchased.

1988

WIFI Linz

Hermann Graef begins lecturing in CNC training at the WIFI Linz and as an assessor for CNC technician and master craftsman exams.
He will work for WIFI for the next 20 years.

1989

Expansion and specialization

The CNC machine park is being expanded and modernized machine by machine. The company specializes more and more in the serial production of CNC precision parts.

1997

Generational change

Hermann Graef takes over the business from his father. To seal this, there is a new name and a new form of business:
PFT PräzisionsFertigungsTechnik GmbH is born. Company buildings and equipment are being radically modernized, and with the purchase of a fully automated Kitamura 5-axis machining center, production is being redirected.
Antunovic Dario starts his apprenticeship as a machining technician and is still working as a master at PFT today.

2004

Business area expansion

Space is becoming scarce and with the acquisition of the second 5-axis machining center, the operating area has to be expanded, which necessitated a number of renovations.

2008

Increase production volume

The third 5-axis machining center is acquired and with it a CNC coordinate measuring machine to ensure the highest quality.
Patrick Vogl starts his apprenticeship as a machining technician (meanwhile he has also passed the master's examination and is still at PFT today)

2013

Space is running out

The operating area is slowly becoming too small, which is why the move to Neumarkt am Wallersee was planned. The new location offers more space and thus more options.

2015

Matsuura MX520

With the acquisition of a fourth 5-axis machining center, we were able to further increase our production volume.

2017

2 more machines

Another, fully automated Matsuura MAM35V 5-axis milling-machining center, as well as a MAZAK Integrex i200s turning-milling center with bar loading magazine and robot automation
are being installed

2018

Matsuura MX520

At the end of the year, the second Matsuura MX520 PC4 5-axis milling center with palletizing system will come into our production

We can offer you that today
